Which Bridgerton Bride Are You?
Even if you’re not watching Bridgerton (but let’s be real, YOU’RE WATCHING Bridgerton) chances are you’ve seen the clips, the memes…THE DRESSES! Is it just us or does the Bridgerton fashion just keep getting better? Here at Savvi, we love getting dressed up, so we decided to throw a Bridgerton-inspired tea party. But enough of us, let’s get into finding out which Bridgerton bride you are.
Penelope
We’ve never seen a better glow-up than Penelope’s. Goodbye overripe citrus fruits and hello main character…we knew you were in there. Penelope’s new look is all about subtle beauty. Keeping it playful, with a touch of sexy like a low back or a killer neckline. We see so much of Penelope in the “Hepburn” gown by Casablanca…which BTW, this gown and a few others you’ll see next are coming to Savvi!
Styling tips: Wear your hair down in cascading waves with a pretty headpiece on the side with the part. Gloves are a must, especially sheer ones!
Daphne
Daphne, our effortlessly graceful, picture-perfect first diamond. While she is sweet, don’t forget she’s sexy too. A precious puffed tulle sleeve will give you all of those Regency vibes, and a fitted chiffon skirt is so Daphne. We especially love the plunging neckline and low back moment on the “Delphine” dress that Daphne would totally rock!
Styling tips: Tiny bangs (😂JK). Pull your hair up into a polished updo. Lot’s of blush, but keep the rest of your makeup fresh and natural. If you really want those debutante vibes, pair with opera gloves and some giant ostrich feathers…DONE!
Francesca
Can we just say, “Wow!” Where has Francesca been hiding this whole time? She’s stunning and we love her classic style and quirky personality. She’s poised and analytical. When we think Francesca, we think tailored sleeves with structured shoulders. With the V-neckline and these sheer sleeves with a bit of volume at the top, we could totally see Francesca rocking the “Nadine” from Casablanca.
Styling tips: Style your hair in a timeless updo topped with an embellished comb. And for your big exit? An oversized white tweed jacket is a must!
Kate
We love how Kate is stepping into her new role as Viscountess and really owning her fashion. Kate’s style is all about layers and texture. She would look stunning in the “Duchess” gown by Casablanca.
Styling tips: Kate loves a cape so swap your traditional veil for something a little more adventurous. And, Kate brides, you NEED a tiara.
Queen Charlotte
You didn’t think we’d talk about Bridgerton and leave out Her Majesty, Queen Charlotte. Her signature style is over-the-top and glamorous. The key to pulling off a regal look like Charlotte’s is volume and embellishment. A ballgown like the “Huntington” with its slightly dipped waist is the perfect nod to the glamour and elegance of a time gone by.
Styling tips: Rock your natural hair texture, the bigger the better. And sparkle baby…there’s no such thing as too much bling for the queen.
Cressida
Love her or hate her…we have to talk about Cressida. One word–sleeves, please. Just when we thought they couldn’t get bigger, the next episode would come on and prove us wrong. She also loves a bow. If you’re channeling Cressida for your wedding look, just remember that more is more. We love the idea of pairing the already adventurous “Rachel” dress with these “Larissa” satin bow sleeves.
Styling tips: Think of your hair as clay that longs to be sculpted. And take risks! Go into your appointment with an open mind and you never know what you may find.
