Our Trend Predictions for 2024
Whether your wedding is in a romantic venue like a castle, a more rustic, country-style barn, or even a fairytale/cottagecore wedding. Something is clear, your dress can set the tone of the evening and help to bring the theme of your wedding alive. But let’s start with the basics:
Trending Silhouettes
For North Carolina brides we’re seeing more simplistic silhouettes trending from A-lines and less full ball gowns to sheaths and fit and flares.
Trending Details
Now, just because your gown’s silhouette is simple doesn’t mean the gown is. In fact, we’re noticing the opposite trend when it comes to gown details. Ruffled skirts, detailed trains, and ornate embroidery and beading are all ways to make the most of a simple silhouette.
Trending Necklines
Off-the-shoulder straps are still trending strong, and it’s easy to see why…they look AMAZING on everyone. If you’re looking for a little more drama, what about a plunging neckline? We’re seeing a lot of gowns with spaghetti straps and flattering deep V necklines that are sure to take their breath away. Ballet core is also having a moment, so it’s no surprise that scoop necklines are trending as well–and you really can’t go wrong with a classic neckline like this.
Trending Colors
Now that you have narrowed down on the overall silhouette and style let’s talk color.
It has been more common to see brides using their gowns to introduce a splash of color to their special day. Here are some of the colorful gowns in our collection:
